This qualitative linguistic study explores the morphological structure of intransitive and transitive negative verb formations in the Brahui translation of Surah Al-Baqarah, specifically from the Jhalawani dialect, as evidenced in the Brahui translation of the Quran by Abdul Karim Ali Murad Lahri Al-Asri. Focusing on Surah Al-Baqarah, the research examines six intransitive verbs (Tables 2-6) and three transitive verbs (Tables 7-9) to decode the morphological and syntactic patterns of negation in the probable future tense. The data draws on 33 examples from different verses in Al-Baqarah, revealing a distinct pattern: all negative verb constructions occur exclusively in the probable future tense. The study highlights significant morphological shifts in the Brahui Jhalawani dialect a feature absents in Sarawani or Rakshani dialects, underlining a unique syntactic pattern in the formation of negation.
